Recently acquired an android, but can't get it to link up to my e-mail account. When I try to set it, it asks for an e-mail address and password. My e-mail is not password protected, so I made one up. When I click next, it says it can't find the server. The PC is switched on. Any suggestions would be welcome.

When I set my tablet up the password required was the Virgin media one, my internet provider.
So how do you pick up your emails, they all require passwords?
"My e-mail is not password protected"
All e-mail accounts have passwords.

"it says it can't find the server"
You need to put in the name of your e-mail server (for example pop3.ispname.com)

"The PC is switched on."
It doesn't collect the e-mail from the PC, it collects it from your e-mail provider's server.
