Ipad Delete Imported Photos

I have a new ipad.i imported an album of photos from my pc. Apart from " Erase all Content and Settings" is there another way of deleting the album?

If you open the album, go to edit, check the photos you don't want, then press delete, that should do it.

Just go into the camera app, tap,the album and the option to erase should appear.

Thanks you two, but it doesn't work,there isn't an option to delete. It seems that one can only delete pics. taken on the ipad

Unselect the album in itunes when the ipad is attached and sync again and they'll go
