Recommend A Laptop

Want to buy a new laptop.
Want something reasonably good but not all singing and dancing as we now use other devices.
My wife will use it for presentations. Tend to stick a high volume of photos and music. Do not play games. Might stream music and tv through it. Would like decent speakers but not essential as can connect to stereo.
Any recommendations would help.

You can get a good refurbished laptop from ebay shop for around £250. Example Toshiba C850, i3 processor, 500gb (get external drive for even more space), Windows 7 (if you do not fancy a slight learning curve for Windows 8), Microsoft Office FULL 2010 version. £250. Excellent value.

What is your budget.? What size screen have you in mind.? etc,etc.

Please give as much info as possible to assist recommendations from ABers.
