Afternoon,

Last book post from me today: http://www.thebookseller.com/news/bn-slashes-nook-%C2%A329.html

B&N's "Nook" (which is an e-reader like the Kindle from Amazon) is now only £29 - about £30 cheaper than a Kindle.

Worth it? I'm not sure, I'm not entirely sure what their range is like. Anyone know?

For those who have not quite taken the plunge into e-books, this might be an opportunity to do so.

So the price of the basic ones are coming down then. Good. But I still have a couple of piles of real books I've yet to get around to. Besides I stare at a screen all day.
It has a huge advantage over the basic Kindle - you can download free library books. Latest releases - hurrah!
I have a suspicion that B&N is dropping the Nook - a when it's gone, it's gone offer.
looks interesting, m.o.h and I share a kindle between us, he reads much slower than me, very frustrating
Thank's for the head up Ed; ordered one from Currys, hopefully in a few days I will have a reader to myself, post free too :]
