Blackberry Alphabet Problems

OH has just got himself a Blackberry curve 9320,he is trying to get a weather app,but lots of them ( at least 5) have select country,but the scroll down menu stops at the letter p.
Can someone please explain what is going wrong?

If it was just the one I could understand that,but for loads of them,I/we must be doing something wrong.
