Paypal Pending

I bought something from the CEX website on Saturday using Paypal, but the payment is still pending. The paypal website offers no reasonable explanation.

Does anyone know what a pending payment could mean? I have ample funds to pay for my purchase.

I'm prepared to bet that when your card provider sent you a new debit/credit card, you forgot to update the details in your PayPal account. That's the usual reason for a 'payment pending' message.

I had this once when I was being paid for something and it was because my email address on eBay did not match with my PayPal address. This was my error when I listed the item on eBay. So could be that
