Have had MSG from O2 saying I've used all my data & would I like to buy more? Thing is i almost only ever use tinternet at home with the wifi providing data (not 3G) so question is how do I just turn off roaming without putting it into airplane mode?
Also I plug in to recharge almost every night. This am when got up at 6 it was fully charged, started listening to radio (wifi) , turned off radio as left for work and by lunchtime it had used almost all battery power!!! So was it busy doing something else to use up all the battery power? And if so has this other "hidden activity" been using up all my data?

Many thanks in advance!

Do as madiba says about turning it off in settings, re the battery life, let the phone run down completely, then give it a good charge, that usually helps. Do you have any apps that maybe running, double click the start button, the screen will rise and show you all the apps that are running, hold finger on one until they all shake, then press the red circle, do it for...

I don`t have an iphone as I have Android but you won`t put the phone into flight mode if you turn off the data roaming. Flight mode turns off the signal altogether. On my phone (in Settings) I turn off Data Roaming and Connect to Packet Data. If you`ve got the 3G running and you have things like Facebook, your phone will be downloading all the time. I only ever turn the 3G on when I need to know something on the web when I`m out and about.
Go into Network in General Settings and turn off 3G. This will then allow wifi only for all Internet usage.
On my phone (Sony Xperia) I have the option of turning Wi-Fi on or off.
If I switch it on, it knows when it's near a network that I've previously connected to so it will connect to the Wi-Fi and not use up any of my internet allowance. I don't know if there's anything similar on your phone ??

This closes everything, just open what you need as and when you need it.
I would guess that the app you were using for the radio was running in the background and switched to 3G.
