Is there a problem with freeview after the thunderstorms in the southwest on 24th friday or has my box been damaged by the thunderstorms?

Try unplugging the box and then plugging it in again - a trick I learned from the retrailer when my freeview box froze up after about 3 months. Apparently the action also cures VCRs and CD players
