Yep, HAPPY ST. ANDREW'S DAY
Happy St Andrews day to all our Scottish AB'rs I have just read that St Andrew is also patron saint of Russia, so how about a double whisky with a vodka chaser?
thanks for good wishes(i'm scottish)
I'm 1/8th Scottish. Can I have a small bit of haggis? (Don't like Whiskey).
Question Author
Parkdale, the whisky will do you far less harm than the haggis.
I'll drink to that!
slàinte mhath!
And to all students and alumni of the Greycoat Hospital School and St Andrew's School of Occupational Therapy who have St Andrew as their Patron Saint.
Hi parkdale - if you write about whiskey, spelling it with an 'e', then you're really referring to Irish or American whiskey.

Scottish whisky is spelt without the 'e', although my spell checker is trying to make me spell it as whiskey!
aye. i'll raise a glass.
Why not, I've found that in general our northern cousins make fine friends and good company.
thanks magicmick, now I can tell the wife why I'm on whisky and vodka
Many thanks, Sandy.
wiltsman, this is exactly why when ever I mention whisk(e)y I always spell it as I've done here, as I'm very partial to either form.
....... and me!
Slange Var to you all!
thank you sandy. x although ED forgot !!!!!!!!!!!
