Word in iPad

Ok I am trying to fill out an application form that was emailed to me in word format i only have an ipad. When i tried to open the document (on the ipad) there are no options for me to open it with another programme to enable me to fill it in. I have Dropbox installed and Adobe yet when i opened it in Dropbox (the only option) i get this error message 'no installed apps support opening this file' should i try and open and converting the document on a laptop? The closing date will pass at this rate ha ha.
Any ideas? TIA x

Get yourself a gmail email address. Send the file to it and t hen try using Google Docs to edit it.

It was sent to my gmail account....now i cant see google docs on the ipad arrrghhh

Try loging into gmail via the web, not the ipad app.

Still only giving me Dropbox only option even going in to gmail through web.....guess i will just have to print the dam thing off or borrow a lappy.
