I just had this message appear in a window...

'windows security 2012 has found critical process activity on your PC and will perform a fast scan of system files'

is this legit?

invalid file

re-directing virus?

It might have spotted a virus, not sure, I haven't had a message like that. There should be some sort of report attached from that scan. Have you enabled it?
