I have always had Norton and well satisfied. Most of them at currys are for 3 computers. As they have them reduced at the moment would it be alright to buy one that is for 3 computers even if I have just 1 computer. Thanks.
Just because the "user licence" is valid for 3 computers, it is actually valid for UPTO 3 computers, so you can have 1 license for your PC, 1 for your Laptop, and the other for your iPad/Tablet, this is because the user (i.e yourself) has 3x devices owned by a single user, so in their wisdom Norton & all the other providers have decide that as the devices have 1 end-user (yourself), then 1 multi-device licence can be issued for single enduser purchases.
I had the 2012 version when I first purchased, but have upgraded recently to the latest version simply by checking for new version in the support menu, for no charge.
can't see any 2013. My norton runs out in 28 days . Looking at the box it came in I had purchased the 2011 last year and never had any problems with it . What is the downside if I purchase the 2012 one. As last years one kept updating no problem.
