Messges stuck in outbox

I have a Samsung E2550 mobile. I want to send a picture that I have taken with it to another mobile, but it is stuck in the outbox. The only 'option' is 'stop' and I can't find anythng in the instruction manual about moving messages out of the outox. Can anyone help? Many thanks.

<shrug> maybe it is too large to go easily & quickly ?
Don't have that mobile myself, hope someone who does gets here soon. Probably a manual for it on the Net if you try a search.
