I wondered if it was possible to watch films on a Galaxy Tab from an external hard drive? I like to watch an old classic before the evening wander and meal whilst on holiday!! Trouble is Iv`e got 40 plus films to chooses from which wont fit on my hard drive!! The only answer I can see is use a few large micro sd cards if this is not possible!! Thanks in advance.

Just an idea, couldn't you just put one film at a time on the Tab then delete it when you've watched it.

Thanks for that. The trouble is I have all the films on my laptop, and want to transfer them onto something that I can watch on with my tab from! I`m not keen on taking my laptop with me its a bit too big really!! Thanks again.
My external hard drive gets it's power from my laptop I'm wondering if there would be enough battery power to run two devices for the lengh of a film. If you have the external hard drive connected can you still have the Tab connected to a power source? Not sure how many connections are available.
I'm interested what others may say as I am expecting delivery of a Tab in the next few days. I was intending to put some films directly onto the Tab and have the remainder on my external hard drive to download later when more space had been obtained ie the others have been deleted.

I see what you mean!! The hard drive would be linked to the mains so that wouldnt be a problem. I too hope someone can help on this one! Many thanks.
