Referring to my question of yesterday, I would like to know if it matters that half the command comes before the freetext and half the command comes after the freetext. Shouldn't all the command come before the freetext?

Not sure what you mean. Example?

Well, the command line for "description" reads;

<meta name= "description" content= "blah....

which I think is correct.

The command line for "subject" reads;

<meta

content= " blah.....

Name= subject>

What I'm trying to explain is that the command is split in half by the freetext. Shouldn't all the command come before the freetext? Am I making sense?

I think you mean 'should the meta tag be able to be split over multiple lines?'.... If this is what you mean, then yes it can be. Or the entire html page can be put on one line. It doesn't matter.
And if you mean, should name come before content, again, it doesn't matter. These are just attributes of the tag and the browser / spider etc will pick it up properly.
