Music files

Hi, I have some files which contain only music,The items contained in the files have an icon attached to them ( Windows media player) This icon has changed to an earlier version of WMP, How can i restore the later version icon?........Thanks

Have you tried>right clicking a song>properties>open with>and select from the drop menu?

 

It may be that your new version did not overwrite the original hence have Two.
