The John Lewis website says : If you have more than 5 channels on your TV set than you will already be digital ... I| have Freeview ... does this mean I don't have to bother with the switchover? If I do, I got as far as setting/setup then it went to Auto Setup, then it said All tuning Date will be Erased. If I have to do anything, do i do this ? And then what ?? Thanks all x

"I| have Freeview"

The digital switchover is to switch TV over to freeview, so yes you are already "switched"..... just select yes when it asks you about erasing the tuning data and let it retune again.
yeah I had that. Continue and it will rebuild your set up is my advice. That's what I done and it worked fine. But the John Lewis webiste is correct although, as I understand it, you have to reconfigure your system

OK its done it everyone, and all works fine, no worries, thanks again! Hope this helps other ABers and they don't have to post further questions :)
If it's today that your switchover is (crystal palace group of transmitters?) then you may find strange results until this evening as different areas switch at different times of day, so you'll probably have to re-tune again this evening.

Also it's a two stage switch with the second stage being on the 18th, so you'll have to re-tune again then.
If you have freeview and get your signal from the Crystal Palace transmitter group, you need to retune your freeview equipment today 18th April) and in two weeks (18th April). If you are getting a message that warns about erasing all data or channels select 'yes' or 'ok'. Your TV/box will the retune.
