Apart from eBay, where is the best place to sell a 9-month old laptop?

There's nothing wrong with it, but I need to by a new one with Centrino.

"There's nothing wrong with it, but I need to by a new one with Centrino"

Why?

Ditto to Rojash`s question of why.

You could following an expensive path based on bad advice, particularly if it was given by a salesperson.

If you want to go wireless you can buy a wireless card or USB wireless stick for about 25.

Centrino laptops are quieter and have much better battery life.

As for actually answering your question, I would have though ebay was the best place to sell one. There aren't a lot of others that can compete. SImply because of the number of people that use ebay.

Is an interesting quote found by googling "Centrino advantages":

"Centrino is a brand rather than a product... In a nutshell, Centrino is Intel's attempt to leverage the advanatges of its new Pentium M microprocessor to help sell other components, by implying that you must buy the entire bundle from Intel to get the advantages. In reality, many Pentium M-branded laptops will include superior wireless functiobnality, provided by third parties, while still offering the power-saving... attributed to Centrino... Centrino-branded notebooks with Intel's PRO/Wireless module are limited to older generation 802.11b wireless connectivity..."
