Norton anti virus is stopping my emails from being sent. It comes up with a message: Unable to send message, because connection to main server was interrupted. There's nothing wrong with my connection to the server. I am running Windows XP. Can any one help me with this problem.

I experienced this problem. Basically, norton will check your outgoing emails for any virus's as it is leaving your pc. What is probably happening is XP is disconnecting from the server before the email has been fully sent. When you mail box is sending you will see a dialogue box that shows your email is being sent (when you hit send/receive) make sure that the little box saying "Hang up when finished" does NOT have a tick in the box. This solved if for me. Good luck
