  I seem to have a lot of music files in M4a format which i cant play in windows media, can i download something that will allow me to play them ,or is there any other player which will play them? , or can i change them to mp3 and how do i do it?

I think they may play in real player which is a free download. Or you should be able to convert them using a program like this

Just an aside - Just wondering why did you chose the username Buddy Holly?
The program that Kerplunk suggested looks good, but it costs $20. Try http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/ which is free and will convert between different formats.

Hi, Smudge, I have been a big fan since 1958, using his name on here just keeps it alive, I also have it on my car number plate, yep! i know I'm sad, Im too old to care.

  Am i right in thinking that Real player is full of spyware and ads?

I'm pretty sure they'll play in iTunes. It's an apple file extension i think. Try it, no spyware, awesome program anyway... Apple

BUDDY HOLLY - When I met my husband back in '63, he had a collection of Buddy Holly & the Crickets records.

When our first daughter was born, he named her after the record label, so you know what she's called now!
