Please explain on some of the downloads these initials appear

On some of my downloads these initials appear could you please explain
example The Title "Revenge S1E2" then follows HDTV264 LOL {VTV) MP4
I copy this onto a disc when I put it on my machine the programme does not appear .
I have a AVI converter connected to a television which also has MPEG 4 ,MP3,this plays all the downloads except;mp4.

S1E2 = Series 1 Episode 2
HDTV264 is the video encoder used for the original rip, LOL {VTV} probably ireleavant
MP4 is also a video encoder, probably the one for the final render to keep the files size fairly low
