Should we give them the benefit of the doubt? Should we cut them some slack? I think it's too easy to condemn people without full access to the facts.
What are your thoughts on the matter?

In what context? It's too big a question, without some parameters.
I try not to be, both on here and in real life.

Walk in someone else's shoes and all that.
Are you inferring that Robert Mugabe is just misunderstood?
Well unfortunately this doesn't seem to be working alan and the immigrants who really need our help are being turned away and the dishonest ones seem to be getting through, obviously not all of them but some.
What we need to do is really tighten up our borders and maybe penalise france who turns a blind eye as long as the immigrants are leaving their land.

craft1948, Robert Mugabe has rather overstayed his welcome, don't you think. He's at odds with the world. Unfortunately, we don't know anything about him, other than what we see on the news. The people of Zimbabwe need our sympathy. Condemning him achieves nothing. We can only hope we find some way to stop this ruthless dictator!
Good grief, they're springing up all over today..............
^^ Craft, if that's the Robmuga1 who was suspended for arguing with the Mods, he had it coming. Imho.
Hopefully Sharon from Pontefract doesn't condemn too readily.

I think this stems from Alan360s post @1440 on Suspension thread under Suggestions

and who's Sharon?

Blimey I've just come back to my laptop with a nice cup of tea and I'm lost already on who's who and what you're talking about. Is it just me?
No, not just you Ladybirder..

That's a relief tigger, thank you.
No I'm totally confused ladybirder ( but then that happens a lot:)

With regards to the actual question I'm only ever really judgmental with people who are rally judgemental.
As the Michael Caine character said in Austin Powers
'I hate people who are intolerant of other people's cultures- and the Dutch.'
I think Sharon's had a lucky escape..........
I hope Alan makes slightly fewer posts and less frequently than we have seen of late........?

That way, he might get to stay on the site. ;o)
Maybe I'm too judgmental but from the few times I've dipped into AB over the last couple of days there seem to be several new posters who within a few minutes of joining seem very at home, are posting numerous threads and seem to know alot about existing users.
