My son has the above phone and wants to get some of the games which cost, is it safe to put my bank card details on (assuming there will need to be a password which he wont know) or is there some way to do through laptop/pc that will go to his phone?

Risky to put on your credit card as some games charge extra for "features" which can all cost money.

There was a case in the paper the other day where a woman put her credit card details on her phone and allowed her young daughter to download a "free" zoo app.

Trouble is each animal downloaded cost money (which they did not know) and the child downloaded loads of animals and ran up a bill for hundreds of pounds.
