When I am typing on my laptop (Acer Aspire 5315 wireless on Vista) the typing will suddenly jump to another line, and if I am not constantly watching the screen, it soon becomes unreadable. I have had this problem before, but it seemed to correct itself. Has anyone any idea how to stop it.
It has done it about 6 times while typing this post.

Are you catching the scrollpad with the edge of your hand while you're typing?
That was always happening to me, very infuriating. Like twix said it was a case of catching the scrollpad while typing. I now use a mouse and have turn off the scrollpad. Problem solved.

Thanks twix123 and anagram, it looks as though that is what I have been doing, it hasn't happened at all while I have typed this reply. I think I shall have to get myself a mouse, probably a wireless one.
