I'm not looking forward to Boxing Day because my brother's girlfriend will be there. We have never argued but i'm still not looking forward to it. Our Christmas day is just going to be me, mum and dad so we have just decided to make it another day... Were having Christmas dinner on Boxing day when they come round.

Not any more as I have nothing to do with any of my siblings (or my mum), apart from the occasional facebook contact.
Nope, not anymore. Gave that up a few years ago.
My sister is one of my best friends..............we love our brother but try to ignore him.

Not any more...
No all sweetness and light here.
Not looking forward to Boxing Day lunch at sister-in-law's (ex-girlfriend too, but enough of that!)

She's bought a spaniel pup, about 4 months old now, and every conversation turns into how lovable it is.

I like dogs, but it can get a bit boring after half a day of solid dog...
Christmas at home with OH, no probs
She then has 2 or 3 days away to see her family
and I dog-sit, no probs.
:o))
my elderley parents come over every Christmas for lunch. 1pm on the dot. They're very religious and dissaprove of the consumption of more than half a glass of wine.

They stay for a couple of hours after dinner where we retire to watch something suitable on TV.

As soon as they're off I'm cracking the beers open and can relax a bit more. I love em to bits but they're hard work from that respect.

My brother will be coming which will ruin it for me.

no, I love xmas, I plan to eat drink and be merry :)
I'm hoping not... but you never know.
I am really, really looking forward to Christmas day. I'll be cooking for my parents, my two sister and their partners, plus the kids and my little newphew. I do have another sister, who I don't really get along with, but she doesn't celebrate Christmas anyway, so no need to stress about that!
I had my (ex) father in law last year, which was horrendous. He makes a two minute conversation last about an hour. I could see how bored everyone was, and it just wasn't the same as having just my own family over... which sounds a bit selfish, but I just prefer it that way.
My Dad's invited his brother down this year, which should be "interesting". He's one of those "mental" uncles that everyone's got... haven't they? He'll probably get really drunk and cause an argument with my Dad, which will be fun :/
It's been a crap year for my family, so I'm really looking forward to having everyone here, and just seeing them all happy :)
"stressful family Christmas"

Those words just go together so naturally!

Yes Trigger-make the ice cream, decide who eats it, when they eat it, how they eat it;)
I am on my own - apart from Frankie de Tom Cat and Princess Merlin the stupid.

My brother lives in another country - I think that it is called England. It would be nice to see him but far too stressful for all concerned and there is no way that my kitties are spending Christmas in a Cat Hotel.
It's not happened yet and there is 25 of us round the table lol. I love Christmas simply for the big family get-together.
There's only ever been one fall out. That was when my ex turned up and started acting the goat. My cousin headbutted him and broke his nose...
