I have downloaded Lame file for Audacity, it says it is in my programme files, but when I come to look for it in 'All Files' I cannot find it.

But if I go into 'My Computer' and click on Boot (C) it is amongst all those files.

How can I find it quicker, because I will need to find it when I convert my Vinyl/Tapes into MP3s using Audacity?

I am running Windows Vista.

You only ever need to find it once. Thereafter Audacity will remember where it is:

After downloading the Lame file, you need to save it in the same folder where Audacity is installed (in Program Files). Then, when you save a song as an mp3 in Audacity, and it asks for the Lame file, point it to the Lame file in the Audacity folder, and it will find it there. (The file is called lame_enc.dll)
