Mp3 downloads

Recently downloading audio (mp3) off the various download applications and i've noticed that alot of tracks come down read as mp3's but when they play they are around 20 odd mins long and are blank???

Any reason for this?

Cos you downloaded a program which rather than MP3's is an .exe-------to track I.P.'s and to find and sue you for the illeagle downloads..........;-)

Complete rubbish!. Anyway what's an ill eagle download????

Heh, possibly. More likely it was a dummy file released by record companies to annoy you. A lot of tracks are empty or distorted. I guess this is a way they can try to put people off downloading music. After all, if you buy it, you always get what you want.

Yeah, I tried to download 'The Sound of Silence' by Simon and Garfunkel and 'Silence of the Lambs' and got exactly the same thing.
