Philtaz....excellent ...thanks.
No probs. I deliberately didn't post the link in the usual box above as there appear to be perinent questions related to the video that may be of help that wouldn't have shown if posted in the usual manner.

Phil....can't find a Doc apps on my iPad.
Do i need to buy and download one and if so, do I download it on my PC or my iPad?

Sorry to be a bit thick.;-)
Not sure to be honest Sqad.

Have you looked through the questions on the youtube video thread? One or two people had minor issues that were fixed by simply pressing a '+' button in an app or in iTunes and another mentions the Keynote app, which may prove helpful.

Phil....no I haven't....I jut got to clicking on the APP label and there was no sign of "File sharing apps".....so i presumed that i would have to download one somewhere before I got to the next stage.

I am disappointed with the ipad as it's OS doesn't support many of the programmes that i use in win7 ....e.g Messenger pro for SMS.
Hi Sqad, they are, in many ways, opposed to each other.

I believe an app called "documents to go" will open office documents. The best way to transfer them would be to have them emailed to the iPad, even if this means sending them to yourself.
Or you could open a dropbox account on your PC and download the dropbox app for the ipad.

It works like a magic folder which syncs between the iPad and the PC (via the internet, so best used on Wifi). Once all up to date though you should be able to access files on the iPad easily.

Ed...sounds complicated, but will give it a go.

I wish i hadn't bought the bl00dy thing now, ....I didn't need it as i have a laptop and a netbook.............just foolish.;-(
I can relate to that Sqad, I'm fearful that I may get one as an 'impulse buy', funds allowing!

Not sure I really need one though...!

Phil....Picture the scene.... Manchester Airport, flight delayed for 7 hours, so what does our prize t1t sqad do?...........he wonders into Dixons and gets easily picked of by a young salesman.............wouldn't have been so bad if it had been a saleswoman with big t1ts.
LOL!
Email them to yourself and get your email on the iPad. They will open in pdf format that can be saved in iBooks. Or if you buy the Pages app (It is about a £fiver) you can open them with that, modify and edit, and save them as word docs and email them where ever you want them to go.

Gromit....sounds a bit complicated for the likes of me......I am clearing off to the Club now as my head is spinning..............will take your advice later.......thanks.

You do have email set up on your iPad, don't you?
Question Author
Yes.
You use the AppStore which is the purple icon on your iPad home screen. Once ypu have bought it, it will load onto your iPad.
Correction:
