I have a Bush HD TV and Sky+. During an evenings viewing the picture disappears and a blue screen comes on. If I switch the TV off for a second or two then switch it back on, all is restored to normal.

I've checked all the cables at the back and everything is connected ok and I've looked at the Sky Problems web site to no avail. I've switched the box off at the wall etc.

Is it a tuning problem and if so how do I do it please? It always seems to happen at the wrong moment. Grr.

The TV might be jumping to a different source such as one designated for DVD or a games console. There may be a button on the remote to toggle between sources. Find this and press it when the blue screen appears to ckeck if the TV has switched from the Sky source to another.
If it has it suggests a TV fault
That is no input 'colour blanking'
Check the input signal. HDMI cable used? I assume so.

What do I do then Albags?
What model is the Sky+ (not Thomson, is it?)
If the TV has component connections, along with the Sky+ box, and you have a lead, you should substitute that and try it again.
If not, you should check hdmi cable or try another one. eBay will do .. or a borrowed one.
