Has anybody got one as I need some help please. You know when you pick up your phone and press for a line to get dialling tone, well I get the DT but it is intermittent, sort of broken up like when someone's left you a message. But there's no message. It's driving me bonkers and I keep looking thru the book but can't figure it out. Here's the phone. Any help appreciated.

Sounds to me like you have a bad connection somewhere check that it is plugged in properly!!

It works fine grumpy thanks, everything connected OK. It's just this annoying dialling tone that has appeared that wasn't there before. Obviously something I've done. It's too clever by half for me.

Hi... Do you have sky contract on your phone? If so you have a message just dial 1571 and delete it. Put your Siemens sl785 A/M on 18 second delay so it kicks in before sky A/M.
