hi, i keep getting texts off 89995 and every text is giving links to adult sites which i've never looked at in my life and have never subscribed to.

I've rang o2 who advised me to send STOP to the number to stop the texts and to ring billing in the morning.but they still come through. I have put this number on the block list and they still come through. I've rang the helpline for BLINGMOBILE and have unsubscribed my phone but they still come through.

02 also advised me that this is how companies make money by sending messages and bill payer picking up the tab.

Has anyone else had dealings with this number and the texts???

If so how do you stop them coming through.

looks like it's near impossible to stop and the charges are enormous. there are suggestions within the thread. best of luck to you.
Do you get charged when some crackpot company sends you a text? The bloody cheek of it.

yes and i've had a good old go at o2 saying if my bill is ridicolous due to me never subscribing to anything then i'll not be paying my bill. I actually have texts saying subscription cancelled then more texts off them.

it is 1 big scam and i have seen the forum, think they need taking to some ombudsman that regulates stuff like this as they can't just activate a subscription to someone.
