tv with inbuilt freeveiw

my tv has freeveiw built in, do i tune this in the same way you would a freeveiw box thats seperate? i also have a dvd recorder, that does not say freeveiw on it, will i be able to use this as long as the tv is tuned to freeveiw or will it be redundant?

I found tuning a digital (freeview) TV much the same as a set-top freeview box. Just follow the instructions in the menu on teh screen.

I am guessing here but I suspect it will depend on whether your TV has an analogue output to a recorder facility. I'm assuming that the recorder is the analogue type and has no digial input.
Yes, tune the TV ( check the TV handbook)
Tune DVD Recorder to all channels same as TV. Link< Co-axial cable from Freeview ariel to DVD Recorder, HDMi or Scart cable from DVD Rec to TV.
