Install a firewire card (if you don't already have one)
Connect camera to firewire port
Set to playback mode
Open Windows Movie maker
Import from camera
Produce to DVD

Thank you... I will go and purchase a firewire card, can I get this type of thing from the likes of PC World? Is there just a standard type of card or variations? Thank you

You've said nothing about what sort of computer you've got so if anyone recommended a card it's going to be a total guess.

If it's a laptop you can get PCMCIA or express slot cards, if it's a desktop then you might need a PCI or a PCIe card.
