getting larger words

please can someone tell me how to get the writing bigger on pages such as this and facebook, for some reason they seem to have shrunk! thanks

Pressing Ctrl and + together enlarges text.
Pressing Ctrl and - together makes it smaller
Pressing Ctrl and 0 together returns text to the default size.
