You tube / itunes problem

Whenever i try to play a youtube video or itunes preview clip all that happens is that there is a long pause, a few seconds of play and then a long pause again. Is there any way to resolve this or is it simply down to signal strength & quality ?

its buffering.
pause the video for about 3-5 mins or so...then play...it should have caught up with itself by then and will play normally
