I'm having no problems tonight cazzz, screens changing snappily.
Using Firefox Cazzz?
If anything, quicker than usual - and i've blocked the ads too.
I don't know how we did it, but IE9 has blocked the ads for us, apart from the scrolling one at the top - I never look at the ads, I've only just noticed.
I have neither blocked my ads nor got loaded myself, cazzz. No problems for me. Try a broader stance and slower back swing ☺
If you use the hosts file mod .. or in Firefox the Chrome mod equivalent .. you won't see any ads anywhere!
LOL I'd love a slower back swing :o)
Howe do you block your ads?
What ads? : )

ok I think I have worked it out, its working a little quicker, my son had added 1'799 links to the favourites bar, Im guessing the computer cant take that much crap ;)

I will have a butchers at firefox!

Im using IE9, mainly through pure laziness ;)
"my son had added"

Oh dear! that statement accounts for about 75% of the computers that come my way for sorting out!

Give your offspring restricted users accounts of their own, it will save you a lot of grief.
my p.c driving me mad. keeps freezing and cant scroll up and down, , only bit by bit.

you say to block the ads! how do you do that?
Try the hosts file mod I spoke about a few weeks ago .. There's no better way. No extra addons to slow things down either.

he can bypass those chuck, however I password him out, obviously I had a lapse in security for an eighth of a second :S
Question Author
he can get past the passwords as well but not on this computer because its "monitored" well most of the time
Read this and download/mod with hosts.zip file.
You 'will see a few old ads filled in with 'page not found' but you will hardly see anything, so will be much quicker loading .. especially ebay, etc, with lots of background crap going on.

Delete his account and then create a new one, reset all account passwords and delete all unused accounts apart from administrator. go into the BIOS and set the hard drive to be the first boot device and disable booting from other devices and/or the startup boot menu, password protect the BIOS (seriously, do not forget this password!) then let him try :)
