After being infected with the windows recovery virus, What is the likelihood for a hard drive to be recovered?

Well, the trite answer would be to say "why bother? Just rebuild the hard disk from the last time you imaged it, and then restore last night's backup..."

But I'm guessing that's not an option, so the best you can do is follow the instructions here: http://www.myantispyw...ndows-recovery-virus/

And once you have a workable system again, implement a suitable backup regime...
