have recently downloaded google chrome and on most sites (including answerbank) it says 'the following plug in has crashed: shockwave flash'
i've entered 'about:plugins' into the browser to see which plugs ins of mine are enabled and disabled but i can't work out which ones to alter.

all works well with IE9 but i'd like to give chrome a go

any solutions please?

sorted it
As many others, including me, have had this problem maybe you could tell us how you "sorted" it. Me I "sorted" it by deleting Chrome and switching to Firefox.

type about:plugins into your browser. i believe this shows a list of what plugins are installed on your computer. Click 'details' in the top right corner to reveal (strangely enough) the details of these plugins. On my computer the 1st two plugins are shockwave flash player plugins where you can enable or disable them. I enabled one of them and disabled the other. If that didn't work i did vice versa. This worked
Thanks for that homedeeth, I'll give it a try.
An easy one: uninstall it and install Firefox 4. Chrome was driving me crazy
