With most modern phones having actuial songs, I doubt you can still make your own. You could try Nokia suite if that's still around though.

sorry squarebear what i meant was i have a tune i want but i only want the middle bit of it not all of the tune

Ah! In that case download a sounds editor like goldwave and you can chop out just the part you want.
