Is there a reason behind the difference in the way these two stories are reported?

Don't see the connection - probably written by two different people for a start? The first about someone nicked by Officers who should have known the extent of their powers instead of just backing up an over zealousPCSO. The second are the rantings and ravings of some lefty Lady of a self styled student mouthpiece.

The difference is that the first story is portrayed as a victory for justice by someone nicked by Officers who should have known the extent of their powers instead of just backing up an over zealous PCSO.

Whereas the second one is portrayed as a victory for justice against the rantings and ravings of some lefty Lady of a self styled student mouthpiece.

When in fact they're both the same - ie idiots shouting stupid things in public.
^^ I'm with him.
Are you yourself sp trying to read something into this that doesn't really exist?

If not, please explain yourself.
Isn't the difference that it is acceptable to say unacceptable things in public except when it isn't and that, further, it all depends on who is doing the saying, and who is doing the objecting ?
