Google Earth Has Disappeared

My Google Earth has suddenly disappeared from my programs and my desktop. I haven't uninstalled it and when I try to download it again, I get the "green bar" screen but then nothing appears to have been uploaded.
What is going on?

Don't know what the answer is but I'd swear the same thing has happened to my google earth several times now.

When it updates, it uses a Temp Windows folder for the complete replacement, then installs to original location. Sometimes gets screwed.

Perhaps it's being blocked by firewall?

Had a quick look on the google site and it seems to be a known problem to do with the updating

Try a fresh update or uninstall and re-install seems to be the way to go then.
