Another vote for BT...probably not the cheapest but stable fast efficient at fixing problems and all the same company. When we were with AOL, if things went wrong, BT used to blame AOL and AOL used to blame BT....now if its anthing to do with the phoneline, we have one port of call and no messing.

Don't really know what's cheap and what isn't.
I pay £32 a month for phone line, all calls, and 8Mb broadband.

Well codswallop I've been with BT since 2002 and I must say I've had no complaints. TalkTalk is a very good price but is murder if you have any problems.
Virgin Media cable service is very good and competitively priced ... assuming you can get cable in your area.

Thanks everyone!!!!!!
I have had TalkTalk frtom the beginning and I must say I have had no trouble. My last bill was for £25 which included land line, free calls any time, free international calls and free broadband. I can only write about what I experience.

I,m all for Talk Talk. Only had one bit of a problem last year and they sorted it pronto! Have got LOADS of space (40GB?) which can be doubled for a small fee, All free calls and cheaper with mobiles, landline included for an average of £22 per month.... Incidentally, ringing anyone else on Talk Talk is totally free even if you only have the minimum from them. Go for it!!!
