I'm after some help/advise re. extending wireless range? We have a netgear wireless router but have very limited access/mostly no access to internet in our back garden. Our house is quite long and router/telephone socket is positioned right at the front of the house.

I'm confused as to what I should be looking for. Had looked at the possibility of installing extension socket for bt phone line and then simply moving router to middle of house, but then as I started to research I found that maybe a wireless range extender would be better.

The netgear powerline wireless range extender kit sounds good but a bit pricey - £90?ish.

Any other suggestions?
Thanks :-)

It's pretty well documented that in situations like yours... and especially people with old places (with thick stone solid walls) are better off with a power plug system. Not sure what the latest specs are tho, and whether it can match the latest wireless transfer speed specs.
