ok today i had my pc in bits to see what was making the noise and have discovered its coming from the processor, again its only when im in game please help
prev what is the difference between a laptop and a notebook?
  
next have i done a stupid thing

I hate to sound boring, but it's the fan!

Depending on the type of cooler on the CPU you either change the whole lot or just the fan. what CPU is it?

Oh, try cleaning any dust build up off the fan blades first.

also i thought i would remove the cpu fan just to see if the fan made any noises and it was just coming from the processor

if that is the case it's more likely the MB clock chip causing it than the CPU but either way it's back to where you bought it.
