On the Google homepage, by pressing "I'm feeling lucky" a countdown starts. Can anyone tell me what it is doing or what it is for?

You can set your clock to 23:59 on 31st December 2009 to see the amazing thing that happens when the countdown finishes.
It'll blow you away! I just tried it.

I know! I was a little scared. especially when the 3d graphics started. It was like being on an acid trip.

Thanks everyone. I have just skidded my way back from a Trip to Covent Garden, London but now home at long last, I'm going to give it a try by setting my computer clock, as suggested.
