What Google YouTube argument?

YouTube is OWNED by Google.

I think it is to do with licensing rights.

The UK music licensing people wont let them put music videos on YouTube
as ever it's to do with money..

The record industry is not happy with the amount of money they were getting paid for every official song that's played on youtube so they have revoked the licensing rights for youtube to feature any official music vids.
Which is crazy when you think about it. Every other industry pays to advertise, but the record industry thinks it should get paid when it advertises.
i`ve been told that you can use a proxy ip address in your browser to view these videos. i`m not sure how to set it up but i`m sure some helpful folk on here can help
