I sell occasionally on ebay & usually add to my listings "payment within 5 working days". I do accept paypal and most people do pay using this method.
On a few things listed recently I omitted the payment due time and although I invoiced the buyer shortly after the auction finished, they have not completed checkout and I have had no contact from them. It is only a few days but how long should I wait before sending a reminder. Not been in this situation before! most people pay so quickly that I don't even get a chance to send an invoice! replies welcome. thanks.

I would send a reminder after about 4 days, and say in that email that if it is not paid within another so many days that the item will be relisted
Im not sure totally (Ethel is the guru on Ebay) but as a rule of thumb I always allow 7 days.

I'm sure ebay states somewhere that you shouldnt do anything stupid like leave negative feedback etc within 7 days
"Most problems can be resolved by communicating directly with your buyer. If 7 days have passed since a buyer won your item, and you still havent received payment, contact your buyer and find out whether he or she plans to pay or has attempted to pay for the item. "

The above was taken from Ebay help, even if you put on your listing payment within 24 hours technically ebay wont want to get invloved until 7 days have past.
