norton internet security 2008 - no updates

the last couple of times ive turned the puta on, i have had no little box pop up from norton to say 'new updates are available, do you want to do them no' (or whatever)..... there are ALWAYS updates. have i got a problem here?

perhaps your paid subscription of the first year after install free update subscription has expired ? try opening the program and finding an update option and trying to do it manually you may get asked for money which will answer your question
