Hi, I'm looking into getting broadband that has a 3gig download limit and has a connection speed of up to 1.8megabits per second. I have no idea what this really means, i do occasionally use sites to stream tv shows + films (i know its wrong, but it fells so right) would i still be able to do this with a 3gig limit, also how much web browsing would i be able to do? cheers in advance.

cheers thats helped me out with one half.

anyone know about the tv/film streaming? how much does that roughly take up?
Well you can see that listening to online streaming radio is 2 hours per week.

Streaming video would be much less than that.

Actually it's 6hrs per week for the radio streaming.

But I'm still none the wiser to the video streaming.
Does this help?

Video streaming 5mb per minute - 320 mb per hour
Online radio - 25 mb per hour.

If you are looking at a mobile dongle it may never be satisfactory for streaming video, it depends where you are.
films etc.? No, that limit isn't enough.
