Last week I upgraded to Firefox 3 and since then, when surfing, I get a popup about once a day saying "Firefox has encounted a problem and will close down". Never got this with the previous version. Is this yet another "improved" version with loads of bugs, or is it the websites that do not like Firefox?

Many thanks lajohn for the reply.
But is it paranoid of me, or just being ultra cautious, not to want to download a programme as important as this from anyone other than the originators website.
Especially as your recommended site says it has no connection with Mozilla.
Try disabling your add-ons 1 at a time. I installed FF3 on the big day, and haven't had any problems at all.
I've had the main version installed since the big day and various beta versions installed for about 6 months before that and never had any problem.

Although I do only run a couple of add-ons
It's more stable than 2, and a definite improvement.

What the others say is correct: disable all your addons (tools menu), and then slowly add them one by one.

Perhaps one of them doesn't work perfectly with 3 yet, so leads to the occasional crash.
